What you will learn

  • Explain why personal protective equipment is the last line of defence, not the first
  • Know what the business provides and what is expected of you
  • Choose and wear the right protection for feet, hands, eyes, hearing, lungs, knees and head
  • Understand why masks must be face fit tested and worn clean shaven
  • Check, clean, store and replace protective equipment, and report problems
